Laura Sinclair is an experienced Speech Pathologist and University Lecturer with a career dedicated to supporting children to become confident communicators.
Laura coordinated the Paediatric Stuttering Clinic at La Trobe University for over five years and has extensive experience in the treatment of paediatric stuttering. She is passionate about coaching parents in evidence-based programs, such as the Lidcombe Program, empowering them to help their children develop into confident communicators.
Laura is also a certified Listening and Spoken Language Specialist AVT Cert., recognised by the AG Bell Academy, with more than a decade of experience delivering early intervention services to children who are deaf or hard of hearing. She is dedicated to providing high-quality support to families who have chosen spoken language as the primary mode of communication for their deaf or hard of hearing child. Laura believes that every child who is deaf or hard of hearing deserves the same opportunities as their hearing peers.
When Laura is not supporting children in her clinic, she enjoys her position as Practice Education Coordinator and Lecturer for the Speech Pathology Program at Victoria University, Melbourne.
